People spend a great deal of their lives trying to get a certain job, but many of them may suffer from the stress triggered by the job interview. Job interviews are challenging for a lot of people. People may not get a job offer though they have gone through lots of interviews. They may not know what the interviewers want to hear. They may feel uncomfortable at selling themselves, get super nervous during interviews, cannot think properly, and forget what they were going to say. Or they may just freeze up when they hear an open-ended question starting like “Tell me about…”
Even you may be one of these people who have difficulty in job interviews. Actually, a mock interview with a coach is what you need in order to handle the interview you want to be successful at to secure the job you look forward to. A good coach would predict the questions you may receive in the interview, and prepare an end-to-end mock interview designed for you from the first impression through your closing statements.
Feedback about the content of your answers and your delivery given by the coach after the mock interview would be a roadmap for you to improve your skills and get ready for the job interview.
In this way, I will help you to not only improve the basic interview skills that you require, but also be set for a specific job interview by preparing some likely interview questions for you after analysing the hiring company’s cultural values and the job description.
In a one-on-one coaching session on Zoom/Skype, you will practice a thorough mock interview with me framed by these likely interview questions.
Following the mock interview, I will give you some feedback, answer any questions you might have, explain to you how typical interviews are structured, and how to build your answers for success.
At the end of the session, you will also be given some exercises to practice on your own for further success.
We will have only 1 session which will take 2 hours and you will have the opportunity to have a voice record.
Before our session, I will need your CV and the job description that you applied for or a sample one for the jobs you apply generally.
